Pittsburgh
– August 5, 1998 – Computer Science Technology, Inc.
(CST), a Pittsburgh-based software solutions provider, completed the
"first ever" comprehensive implementation of an Oracle
Applications Suite (v.10.7) on a Windows NT platform for regional
client, Pride Health Care. The implementation is being heralded as the
first successful Oracle Applications/Windows NT deployment in the
world.
The
entire Oracle/Windows NT integration was declared a
"success" by both companies on June 29, 1998 after twelve
months of ongoing business process analysis and assessments.
Pride
contracted Oracle partner, CST, in May of 1997 to implement two
distinct Oracle Applications suites – Oracle Financials and Oracle
Manufacturing – comprising ten modules all together. Up until this
point, no one had attempted to integrate such an enormous enterprise
quality solution with Windows NT.
Oracle
Applications are an integrated set of business applications developed
to manage critical business processes, including manufacturing, supply
chain, and financial management.
Pride
